Some cheap tips to help you prepare for your new puppy

  • Have you ever owned a dog before? If you have be sure to look for your old bowls, toys and kennel. The ammount of money you're going to spend on your new dog is not just how much the breeder is charging. Click here to look at some prices of things you need for your new puppy.

  • Do you have enough money for food for your dog every month? Maybe you don't have to buy it every month but when it comes time do you have the cash? Be sure to make a budget that includes your dog because food isn't the only expense! Toys, vet bills, that carpet cleaner you thought you wouldn't need anymore, and treats for training add up pretty quickly.

  • You may think its cute that your new puppy likes to snuggle with your favorite teddy bear. Then maybe its still cute when he starts chewing on its ear. But what happens when you come home to a white stuffing wonderland? Don't get your puppy toys that look like your things until he knows the difference (which could be never)
